OpenPaint is a simple, efficient image editor that reminds you a bit of Microsoft Paint. It could be said that it is a domestic use image editor. Evidently it can`t compete with the big editors, but it`s great for users who don`t want much more than the basic options. OpenPaint lets you invert the colours and includes four filters: clarity, pixelation, colour change and greyscale.

It includes the usual toolkit: pencil, brush, colour change, fill-in, text, etc. You can also select specific areas and geometric shapes (circles, rectangles, etc). OpenPaint is free and works with numerous image formats: BMP, PNG, JPEG, GIF, PCX, PNM, TIF, IFF, XPM, ICO, CUR and ANI.
